Thunderstorms are some of the most beautiful things. Ever since I was a little girl, I adored the sound of rolling thunder in the distance; the flashes of light illuminating the billowy clouds.
Thunderstorms can be loud, chaotic and full of exuberant drama. Thunder is the music of the heavens, a grandiose orchestra of riveting power. Lighting, the reason for thunder, is visually stunning yet terror-evoking.
Now, I don't dare compare myself to a thunderstorm, because that would be silly. I couldn't ever do such a phenomenon justice. I'm just a mere human, after all, and compared to the brilliance of a thunderstorm I'm, well, lacking.
But there is no question about it. I am a tempest in my own right.
I'm just a free-spirited country southern gal. And to this day I'm not even sure how to write a decent bio page.
I suppose the most important thing you should know about me, is that my life is meaningless without Christ. The reason I'm here is to point you to HIM. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I strive to serve Him with all of my heart.
I have a heart for missions and am seeking out ways I can show Christ's love to those around me. I'm twenty. Music is one of my greatest passions in life. I'm a certified personal trainer, and am passionate about health and fitness, as well as preventative medicine.
I love Civil War reenacting and living history in general. You could say I'm kinda obsessed with things of the past.
I breathe, think, live musically. You could say that I am sort of lost in it, attached to it, one with it. I love both listening to it and making it.
The instruments I play?
Piano. (My favoritest of them all, my first love)
Guitar. (My bluegrass addiction)
Accordion. (My outlandish novelty)
Organ. (My itty bit of traditionalism)
Bodhran. (My Irish percussion bliss)
Ukulele. (My fluffy piece of happiness)
Appalachian dulcimer. (My simple hillbilly joy.)
Civil War tension snare drum. (My newest reenacting venture.
Mandolin. (Just an eensy-weensy bit!)
Le vocal chords. (My own voice, which is a strange and unpredictable thing.)
I have an odd little obsession with abandoned buildings, Korean culture, kpop, katana swords, Latino culture, Scottish boot knives, and tanto blades.
I drink green tea by the gallons.
One of my dreams is to find petrified lightning/a fulgurite of my own.
Knife throwing is one of my favorite sports.
I'm mostly extrovert but also can be very introverted.
I love exploring and going off trail.
Thanks for stopping by, AND if you actually read all this I have to thank you for putting up with my random strangeness. Now... you know what would be nice? You could leave a comment, letting me you were here - don't be shy! I love meeting new people!
